The accommodation is split over two levels and is ideal for families or couples looking for a peaceful rural retreat close to Dartmouth and the stunning Start Bay coastline. The living area on the ground floor level includes a fully fitted kitchen, shower room with sink and WC, small dining table and a lounge area where the sofa converts into a queen size bed. There is also a proper single Devan bed which has a pull out to make up into a full size double.

A great location for the beach
Lovely stay at the Shepherds Hut – the kids especially loved the top floor, and it’s a great location for the beach. It is worth taking condiments i.e salt & pepper as there isn’t any. Overall, we had a great time and we will hopefully return one day!
A good base to explore the beaches
We stayed with our two young children and found it a great place for a family – huge garden for them to run around in and trampoline, and comfortable rooms. A good base to explore the beaches and nearby Dartmouth and Totnes
